Síndrome de las piernas inquietas en el embarazo

En estas últimas semanas de embarazo noto que, sobre todo por las noches, mis piernas no me funcionan como deberían. Me empieza a entrar un cosquilleo por los pies que me va subiendo para arriba y ya no puedo tenerlas quietas. No llegan a ser calambres, tampoco se me duermen, simplemente cada pocos segundos tengo que moverlas y esto impide que descanse.

Esto solo me pasa cuando estoy en el sofá. Es irme a la cama y el cosquilleo se me pasa. Normalmente me quedo dormida al momento, así que cuando tengo este síntoma es porque ya el cuerpo me pide descansar. Cosas del embarazo, supongo.

He estado informándome y existe el síndrome de las piernas inquietas y suele suceder en el embarazo (aunque también en niños y en personas mayores) y ya en la recta final. He leído que puede ser desde genético hasta por una falta de hierro a causa del embarazo. 

¿QUE PUEDO HACER SI SUFRO EL SÍNDROME DE LAS PIERNAS INQUIETAS EN MI EMBARAZO?

  • Alimentarnos mejor, sobre todo aumentar la dosis de hierro por si es debido a esto. 
  • Reducir el estrés durante el día, para llegar a la noche descansadas.
  • Algunos ejercicios como la natación, el yoga, los estiramientos… hacen que la circulación sanguiena sea más activa y evitan este hormigueo.
  • Los baños calientes en el momento que sientes que las piernas se empiezan a cargar.
  • Siempre bajo consejo médico, recibir masajes en las piernas.

Como ya te he comentado, a mi me va muy bien acostarme en la cama y no estar sentada ni tumbada en el sofá. Me suele aparecer este hormigueo cuando el cuerpo está muy cansado y necesito relajarme. Alguna que otra vez Manu me ha masajeado las piernas y también me ha aliviado. Los baños calientes no los he probado (más que nada porque no tenemos bañera, vaya) pero sí que me he dado duchas y relaja bastante.

Espero que esto sea como la ciática y de repente un día se me vaya, pero imagino que no, ya que cada vez me pasa más frecuentemente.

  1. Yo también lo tuve, pero en la cama, en el sofá…para que pasase tenía que levantarme un momentito. Lo peor de todo es que aun hoy día me sigue pasando. Bueno sabrás que esto no le ocurre solo a embarazadas y debe ser cosa de familia, a mi madre también le pasa jejejej

    1. Sí, eso leí, que solía pasar también dependiendo de la persona aunque era más frecuente en personas embarazadas. También que era genético. Personalmente, me ha empezado ahora (bueno, hace unas semanas) y espero que no se quede… ¡Es muy incómodo! ¡Un abrazo!

  2. A mi me pasa. Es molesto y yo soy de la opinión de que es por la anemia. Me empezó alrededor del 2º trimestre y va por días. No es tampoco un síntoma terrible porque te puedes anticipar a él. A mi si me pasa en la cama y cuando se ponen así de tontas (las piernas) lo que hago es estirar y flexionar tobillos para relajar pantorrillas, sacar los pies fuera de la manta, rotarlos…. Generalmente se pasa a los pocos minutos. Y si aún no te han pautado hierro, ve a consulta a que te hagan analíticas que probablemente esté ya dándo la cara la anemia ;).

    1. Jo, no me digas eso… Tengo analítica ya la semana que viene, la del tercer trimestre y última y espero estar bien de hierro. Pero es verdad que últimamente me alimento como el culo muy mal e igual debería mejorar eso… A mi solo se me pasa en la cama o si ando. Como dices, no es terrible pero sí incomodo. ¡Ya nos queda menos! :) ¡Un abrazo!

    Espero que se te pase pronto porque por lo que explicaban puede ser bastante molesto.
